We are packed! We decided that yesterday (three days before our departure date) we would pack as if we were going to leave for the airport. That way, the next couple of days could be spent tying up loose ends and relaxing for a long, 30 hour excursion.
I have taken every measure I can think of to avoid air sickness! Did you know that ginger reduces nausea? I have ginger chews, lavender essential oils, snacks that are low in sugar, wrist bands intended to engage a pressure point that relieves, nausea. The works!
As our departure date nears (January 15th at 5:20 pm), Kevin and I are becoming more and more excited, as opposed to more and more anxious. A blessing, for certain.
